Our Story

For more than 50 years, Mister Sweeper has been serving the Cowichan Valley with trusted advice, quality floor-care products and dependable local service.

Founded by Jim Kelly, Mister Sweeper built its reputation by helping customers find better, longer-lasting solutions for keeping their homes clean and healthy. Over the years, the store expanded its selection to include respected brands such as Miele, Canavac, Numatic, Oreck, Hoover, Airstream and more, along with a wide range of bags, belts, filters, parts and cleaning products.

Today, the next generation is carrying that tradition forward.

A New Chapter

Jim’s son, Scott Kelly, has taken over the business and is bringing new energy to Mister Sweeper while continuing the values the store was built on: quality products, knowledgeable service and genuine care for customers.

Scott is also expanding the vision beyond traditional vacuum sales, with a growing passion for eco-friendly home care, healthier cleaning products and practical solutions that support a cleaner, more sustainable home.

That means continuing to offer trusted vacuum and floor-care brands while introducing more products that help customers reduce waste, use fewer harsh chemicals and make thoughtful choices for their homes.
