Our Story

The Duncan Mister Sweeper Vacuum store has been serving its customers for over 40 years and is the Cowichan Valley's premier vacuum store for quality and knowledge.

Throughout the years we have consistently improved the quality and selection of floor care equipment that was available in Canada; such as introducing the world's best vacuum - German-made Miele to Vancouver Island. It is the only completely sealed vacuum making it with a EUROPEAN CERTIFIED HEPA filtration machine.

We also carry the full line of Canavac, the Canadian made central vacuum that is completely metal and uses the most powerful motors on the market making them the very best quality in the industry. Most recently, we have brought on the Oreck Steamer-Vacs, Hoover shampooers and stick vacs, Fuller Brush, Numatic Henry's, Airstream and Panasonic lines.

We also have a full range of certified organic cleaners for all-purpose jobs and we carry hardwood floor microfiber mops as well. Other products we carry include carpet shampoo, laundry liquid and powder, and dishwashing powder. We also have different types of air cleaners for those concerned about air quality in the home, including Austin Air, and Oreck.

We have the largest selection of vacuum bags, belts, filters and parts for all makes and models of canisters, uprights and built-ins. Mister Sweeper has very knowledgeable staff whose goal is always to do the very best for their customers, whether it's advice on a purchase, or to repair their present unit.
